
Morning Routine: Clean Your Mouth
1. Brush Your Mouth (Yes — even if you have no teeth)
Use: Cleanadent Paste + Ergonomic Toothbrush to Clean:
Gums
Tongue
Cheeks
Roof of mouth
Implant abutments or housings (if applicable)
It's surprisingly hard to find consistent, reliable information about the most effective and safest ways to clean dentures and other dental appliances. A quick online search can turn up many different, sometimes contradictory cleaning instructions. Many of these DIY cleaning methods using household items can actually damage the dental appliance and may even be harmful to your health.
That is why we've put together the most effective cleaning instructions backed by research and science into an easy to follow, step-by-step daily routine.

Toothpaste & Toothbrush:
Too abrasive, creates microscopic scratches into appliance material where pathogens thrive and increases staining, discoloration & odor.
Bleach, Alcohol, Vinegar, Hydrogen Peroxide:
Can permanently damage & discolor the appliance material and negatively affect the appliance and health of patient.
Mouthwash:
Often contains alcohol, can cause stains on appliance without disinfecting completely.
Baking Soda:
Only deodorizes the appliance, "fizzing" reaction can harm the soft material.
Dish Soap:
Not made for dental appliances, doesn't disinfect, potential for ingesting soap.
For best results, use a new cleaning solution each time.
1. Add water to Ultrasonic Cleaner Basin (or other receptable).
2. Squirt 2-4 Pumps of the Liquid Crystal Cleanser into the water
3. Gently insert the denture into the solution and secure the cap of the Ultrasonic Cleaner device.
4. Press the power button to activate the Ultrasonic Device
- Press 1x for 5 minute timer5. If you do not have the Ultrasonic Cleaner use a cup or bowl and set a timer for 15 minutes.
6. Rinse appliance thoroughly
7. Pour remaining solution into drain
Never use a regular toothpaste or toothbrush as they are too abrasive and will damage the denture.
1. Remove Dentures
2. Add Cleanadent Paste to the Dr. B Denture & Mouth Toothbrush
3.Brush mouth, gums, palate and tongue. If an overdenture, clean gently around implants.
4. Rinse mouth with water
5. Reapply Cleanadent Paste to the Dr. B Denture & Mouth Toothbrush
6. Brush dentures thoroughly over a sink containing water. If an overdenture, clean gently around the LOCATORS.
7. Rinse dentures thoroughly with water
Clean & Reapply After Meals.
1. Clean and rinse mouth with warm water
2. Ensure denture is clean and dry
3. Top: apply 5 pea-sized drops or 3 short strips
4. Bottom: apply 4 pea-sized drops or 3 short strips
5. Insert in mouth and hold with even pressure for at least 20 seconds
6. When done, remove and clean (see Cleaning Instructions)
1. Make sure your hands are clean

3. Use your finger and the Cleanadent Wipe to clean around the mouth and denture. For best results, use a separate wipe for mouth and denture.
4. Rinse mouth and denture with water.
5. Additional Tip: Add water to the wipe before usage for a more refreshing experience.
